In order for this property to fly Hilton’s flag and be positioned as an Official Walt Disney World® Hotel, we led an extensive, hotel-wide renovation that brought forth a newly enlivened Buena Vista Palace. The multi-million-dollar renovations spanned over 1,000 guestrooms, included significant architectural improvements and introduced a variety of uniquely branded food-and-beverage destinations for guests.
Removing an interior bridge and infilling the lobby-level atrium improved guest flow throughout the property while also providing increased square footage for an enhanced arrival experience. From the signature restaurant Letterpress to the inviting lobby bar, we created open and comfortable spaces to take in the lakeside vista while drinking and dining. The poolside restaurant Shades and upscale grab-and-go market Citrus 28 have also helped distinguish and elevate the property’s offering within a densely saturated market—amid scores of hotels just steps away from the dining and entertainment destination Disney Springs.
During this multi-year project, we arranged for FF&E to be strategically delivered to the warehouse in phases to provide savings. When harsh weather conditions caused corrosion to form on balcony tables, we collaborated with our supplier to redevelop and replace the product at no charge, ensuring that even the smallest of details would contribute to a perfectly satisfying guest experience.
