Hospitality Design: Outbound Hotels Debuts as a New Outdoor-Focused Brand
A new nature-centric hospitality brand has arrived. Outbound Hotels endeavors to make extraordinary outdoor destinations easily accessible while respecting the surrounding environment and community. The concept aims to spark inclusivity, sincerity, and human connection through a blend of music, local culture, and outdoor experiences. The brand’s properties are near towns travelers can explore, yet also close by natural landscapes for hiking, biking, skiing, climbing, or swimming.
Ownership group Waterton appointed Chicago-based branding, design, and development firm the Gettys Group and hotel management company Springboard Hospitality to transform two existing properties—the Virginian Lodge in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (previously redesigned by New York studio Goodrich) and Outbound Mammoth in Mammoth Lakes, California—for the roll-out.
