New York is among the world’s greatest cities and a place that is near to our hearts because we enjoy our time spent after-hours as much as the work itself!

Okay, we admit, it’s hard to actually single out a best meal in a city like New York where everything from the slices at Joe’s to the snapper at Jean-Georges are magnificent. Nevertheless, we’ve loved every meal that we’ve ever eaten at Eleven Madison Park and couldn’t help but single it out. This collaboration between hospitality guru Danny Meyer and Chef Daniel Humm showcases market-driven French cuisine overlooking the historic Madison Park. Perfection.

New York is so fashionable….that fashionable “see and be seen” places are opening inside other fashionable “see and be seen” spots. This tiny bar with “angelic” décor is located inside Village Yokocho, a Japanese restaurant, and boasts a no-standing room policy. In other words, seated guests only. But, once you’re in, you’re really in. Enjoy their menus of exotic plum wines and watch the world go by from one of their tables for four or fewer.
